New ‘Bare’ collection is out now.
July 18, 2016
By: Melissa Meisel
A new Naterra product line, Tree Hut Bare, debuts in stores this summer. It joins the rest of the Tree Hut collection along with its other brands such as Tigi and Baby Magic. The Bare range features four key products: Tree Hut Bare Shave Prep Body Scrub ($9.99) said to pamper skin with nourishing oils and essential ingredients like oat kernel oil which helps relieve skin irritation and avocado oil to help keep skin moisturized; Tree Hut Hair Bare Removing Sugar Wax ($14.99) with a tropical scent; TreeHut Bare Moisturizing Shave Oil ($9.99)powered by a proprietary technology that uses a blend of natural oils to prevent irritation from shaving; and Tree Hut Bare Hair Minimizing Body Butter ($11.99) infused with an active ingredient derived from Gymnema Sylvestre – an herb native to the tropical forests of southern and central India and Sri Lanka. Naterra’s international director of marketing Laurie Enright, Dallas, took time to chat with Happi.com about the company. Happi: Tell us about Naterra. What makes Naterra products different from others in the marketplace? LE: Naterra’s number one priority is our customers’ satisfaction and that priority breathes through all aspects of our company. We keep our customers’ wants and needs top-of-mind when developing new high-quality products. We’re constantly innovating and, since our products are manufactured at our facility in Texas, we’re able to capitalize on trends and react to new regulations more quickly and effectively than our competitors. Happi: What is the latest news on Tree Hut and what assets does this brand bring to your company? LE: In addition to the Tree Hut line extensions introduced to the market in April, we’re excited to launch in a new category this June exclusively at Ulta called the Tree Hut Bare Collection. Effective hair removal begins and ends with proper skin care. These products complement our existing line because the formulas are effective, hydrating, and enriched with natural ingredients. The purpose of hair removal is to have soft, smooth skin and Tree Hut’s Bare Collection provides users with the complete regimen to have lasting, smooth skin. This is a very exciting time for us because Tree Hut Bare catapults our brand into a new personal care category. Happi: Tell us about some key ingredients in these new products… LE: Each of the products has a unique story. We start off the Tree Hut Bare regimen with a Shave Prep Scrub that has no microbeads and is formulated with sugar grains to exfoliate and prep the skin. With the increasing trend of oils, we created a Shave Oil that is rich in texture without clogging razors and gives users what they want: soft, smooth skin and reduces the chance of getting nicks. For those who would rather wax, Tree Hut Bare Hair Removing Sugar Wax is formulated without harsh chemicals. The blend of natural ingredients remove unwanted hair without leaving behind a sticky residue or chemical smell. To finish off the hair removal routine, we’ve added a clinically tested botanical extract to Tree Hut Bare Hair Minimizing Body Butter that will reduce hair growth over time with daily use to provide lasting, smooth skin. Happi: What’s in store for Naterra? LE: Naterra is synonymous with innovation. We’re excited and thankful to be able to continue to grow within our existing categories and have the opportunities to expand into new ones. This is only the beginning for Tree Hut and Naterra!
